Welcome to HEIRS

The History of European Integration Research Society (HEIRS) is a postgraduate research network. Founded in the summer of 2004 by a group of doctoral students, it works as an open network for all researchers who wish to contribute to discussions on European integration history within an informal and relaxed atmosphere. At this site you're free to work with our editors however you want, even use an option to buy a compare and contrast essay. HEIRS has two main aims:

»
To foster the collaboration and interaction of postgraduate researchers across Europe with an interest in European integration history; and

»
To encourage postgraduate researchers to overcome the “splendid isolation” of research, achieved most notably by bringing researchers together at our annual conferences. As part of our activities, we collaborate with a broad range of partners. We work closely with the Paris-based RICHIE network and are represented at meetings of the EU Liaison Commitee of Historians
